The painful truth is that everyday many people are wasted away by AIDS and many children are orphaned because of AIDS and left to fend for themselves. The good news though is that we can reverse this negative trend by keeping persons infected by HIV
The Woyome Foundation for Africa (WOFA) is raising funds across the world for the construction of a 350-bed HIV/AIDS Hospital and Research Centre to help in providing treatment and care to the millions of infected children and adults on the African continent. You’ll be helping reach out to millions of people across the West African sub-region with your donation.
The painful truth is that everyday many people are wasted away by AIDS and many children are orphaned because of AIDS and left to fend for themselves. The good news though is that we can reverse this negative trend by keeping persons infected by HIV alive and productive. It does not take much to make this difference.
The proposed 350-bed HIV/AIDS Hospital and Research Centre is planned to be constructed across the continent starting with Ghana and will be central to providing treatment and rehabilitating persons living with HIV. It will have a centre for research into HIV and AIDS, accompanied by a research fellowship for researchers into HIV/AIDS, particularly in Africa.
Your donation or contribution to this project will form the blocks that will house this treatment and research centre. You donations will ultimately save millions of lives across the continent of Africa. We are One People, One World, with One Destiny.
We are hoping with your support to raise at least US$115,000,000.00 (One Hundred and Fifteen Million Dollars to put up the hospital (together with equipment and other state of the art facilities) and offer hope of life to many who think that acquiring HIV is a death sentence.
WOFA is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated in Ghana and we are happy to invite you to join in realising the vision of a world united by the common purpose of achieving an AIDS-free planet.
We have proposed direct approaches to achieving universal access to anti-retroviral medicines by persons living with HIV. We believe all HIV-positive pregnant women must be supported to prevent mother to child transmission of the virus. We have plans to engage young people in profitable activities that will lessen the risks of acquiring HIV. More importantly we wish to keep persons living with HIV alive and productive.
